自上周末，一些媒体陆续报道了中国政府部门正在调查西门子医疗业务。这也许已经引起了您的关注，并引发了我们的客户和合作伙伴的问询。
 
我们在此澄清，公司对于新闻报道中有关西门子中国医疗业务的情形并不知晓。事实情况是：上海市工商行政管理部门的一个分支机构正在对西门子医疗实验室诊断业务的市场与业务模式进行了解，该模式在全球行业内被普遍采用。与最近媒体报道的情况相反，这一工作并未涉及任何腐败问题，也与任何个人利益无关。西门子已经在积极配合工商部门开展工作，以期尽快消除有关部门的疑虑，完成这一工作。
 
在西门子，我们决不姑息任何不正当的竞争或者违反道德准则的行为。我们在中国的经营活动一直秉持诚信的原则。西门子鼓励每一位员工——作为公司的主人——举报发现的任何不合规行为。

Starting from the weekend some media reported that Siemens Healthcare business is being probed by Chinese authorities, which may have triggered attention from you and some inquiries from our customers and partners.
We’d like to clarify that Siemens is not aware of the situation which was reported by the media about our Healthcare business in China. The fact is, a branch of Administration of Industry and Commerce (AIC) in Shanghai is looking into Siemens Healthcare’s Laboratory Diagnostics marketing and business model which is common worldwide in the industry. Contrary to the recent media reports, the probe is neither corruption-related nor related to any personal benefits to individuals. Siemens has been working closely and cooperatively with AIC to dispel its concerns and expects to resolve the matter in the near future.
