- TMZF
This proprietary beta titanium alloy offers 25 percent greater flexibility than Ti-6Al-4V alloy, yielding a modulus of elasticity that more closely resembles that of bone. In addition, TMZF maintains a 20 percent higher tensile strength than Ti-6Al-4V alloy1.
- PureFix HA Coating
Stryker's clinically successful nominal, 50µm thick PureFix HA coating demonstrates unprecedented clinical results in a multi-center study followed for more than 13 years.2
- Circumferential Plasma Spray
A circumferential plasma spray surface over the proximal body helps to assist with mechanical engagement in bone and helps to provide an optimum interface for application of PureFix HA coating.
- Tapered Wedge Design
The tapered wedge design of the Accolade TMZF Femoral Component helps to provide firm mediolateral stability within the femoral canal. This design philosophy is supported by extensive long-term clinical experience.3,4 The low-profile, bone-sparing architecture more easily accommodates either a standard or small incision approach.
- Increased Head Offset
Offset options are available in both 132-degree and 127-degree neck angles. Joint stability may be achieved without lengthening the leg. These options help to enable proper restoration of joint kinematics.
- Reduced Neck Geometry
Reduced neck geometry helps to optimize range of motion, while maintaining strength.
- Head Options
A large selection of femoral heads is available in V40 taper. A large range of offsets also are available in forged Vitallium alloy, alumina ceramic, and BIOLOX* delta ceramic.
